PORTlíngua organizes individual tuition, courses for two/three students and group courses, for all levels
(Common European Framework for Reference for Languages).
INDIVIDUAL TUITION OR CLASSES OF TWO/THREE STUDENTS
This allows for:
Teaching more directed towards the professional and specific needs of the student(s) either in Portugal or in a country where Portuguese is the official language; preparation of exams, theses or scientific works in universities or other institutions of technical or professional level.
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS USING DISTANCE LEARNING (via Skype)
These courses take place throughout the year, with dates and workload at the students’ choice.
Each teaching hour lasts 50 minutes.
INTENSIVE GROUP COURSES
Groups have between four to eight students. Courses last for three weeks, with four teaching hours per day, from Monday to Friday, with a total of sixty hours.
Each teaching hour lasts 50 minutes.
These courses are taught by two teachers.
In the first two hours the emphasis is on practice of grammatical structures. The second two hours are dedicated to conversation only.
Groups will be formed on the first day of the course after completion of an evaluation test, both written and oral, that will allow us to assess the students’ level of linguistic knowledge. Not applicable to the beginners’ courses.
Lessons take place between 09.30h and 13.30h or between 14.00h and 18.00h on dates fixed by PORTlíngua.
